Um piloto de parapente precisou fazer um pouso de emergência em uma árvore nesta quinta-feira 8 em Nova Friburgo, na Região Serrana do Rio. O atleta, que não quis se identificar, disse que não se feriu e que esse tipo de pouso é uma estratégia de segurança utilizada no esporte. “Eu já pratico voo há bastante tempo. Voei em Paraty RJ, Vitória ES. Só que o voo do Caledônia é um voo que a galera tem medo de voar. Voos em áreas urbanas não são muito comuns. É muito natural ver pilotos de parapente presos em árvores, mas em zonas rurais. Pousar em árvores é uma das primeiras coisas que a gente aprende quando alguma coisa dá errada no voo”, explicou o piloto. O incidente aconteceu por volta das 15h na Avenida José Pires Barroso, a Via Expressa, em Olaria, e chamou a atenção das pessoas que passavam no local. Um motociclista que passava pela Via Expressa flagrou o momento do pouso. Apesar do susto que as pessoas tomaram, o piloto contou ao g1 que, ao contrário do que pareceu, o voo foi tranquilo. “Eu decolei do morro do Caledônia, passei pelo morro da Babilônia, das Catarinas… cheguei na área de pouso normalmente, no Campo do Friburgo. Só que quando fui pousar, aconteceu um fenômeno chamado descendente, que é quando pega o vento descendo. Aí quando eu percebi que não daria pra pousar no campo, joguei em cima da árvore. Saí ileso. E faço questão de frisar que o parapente é um esporte muito seguro”, concluiu.
